Building Blocks
bb (building blocks) is a playful synth where you work physically with additive synthesis and learn more about signal flow in a tactile way. inspired by west coast synthesis.
the picture shows a square- and a triangle wave base synth that you then build upon with different bits such as; amps, cutoffs, LFOs and different effects. this way you can sculpturally shape the sound as you want it.
the ”building blocks” can be easily varied in different themed expansions, like collectible cards. comes with input and output ports for connecting to each other and to send sound to a computer or keyboard.
Waveshaper
Waveshaper is both a synthesizer and a LFO where you can shape very complex waveforms, by hand.
A magnetized clay that rests upon the plate can be squeezed, pulled and shaped into a desired wave shape. the goal is to increase tactility and play in music production tools.
waveshaper switches between a synthesizer and a standalone LFO with the press of a button. Switching between outputting its own sound to modulating an incoming signal.
