Simon Mattisson is a Stockholm based artist & designer working within the fields of furniture, sculpture, products & interiors.
Specializing in additive manufacturing – the studio’s practice centers around the creation of systems. Interweaving themes of digital and the physical space, the natural world and the artificially man made, technological advancement and ubiquitous truths from deep in our past.
The ambition is to use these systems to explore and understand some of the processes — environmental, social, aesthetic or other — that dictate the world we live and shape how we interact with it. Using this understanding to craft things, spaces and objects that evoke a deeper understanding of the world around us.
